Does anyone know what new vehicles are available in a 4*4 estate that are on sale in Ireland?

Edit - something of a mondeo / octavia size

    Thanks

Octavia 4x4 ... my missus had one ... it was alright. A bit thirsty for what it was due to the AWD. The road noise was terrible.

In reality it was pointless as she didn’t need four wheel drive so now she drives a 2wd SUV 🀦*♂️

Thanks for that, is there any easy way of finding out what's available on the market or would I need to check with each manufacturer to see if they have a suitable model?

    Go on to autotrader.co.uk
Refine the search results to 2017 and up
Select the awd and estate options in the refine bar
    There ya go.

    All new Subaru's are AWD.

Volvo make many different AWD/4x4 estate cars

Skoda have 4x4 versions of the Superb and Octavia and both available in estate.

Audi have numerous Quattro estates available.

Mazda make the CX3 and CX5 in AWD guise.

BMW have X-Drive estate versions in most of their series.

VW have 4Motion estate versions in the Passat.

Took my own advice and was surprised to see ford mondeo is available in 4wd.

So is the Vauxhal Insignia but If I were buying an AWD car I'd stick to the marques known for AWD prowess like Subaru, Audi and Volvo.

The Octavia is available as the Scout. None of these will do much good buried in 2 or 3 feet of snow drift that we get once every 36 years or so though if that's the motivation behind the interest.

The S-Max was also available with 4wd.

You can find mpg from people here
    http://www.fuelly.com/car/subaru/forester
Most are in the 20s when a lot of modern cars will give you 45 or thereabouts

    I'm averaging about 11L / 100kms on a 2.5 litre petrol Outback.
