    I see a lot of landcruisers with GT Radials, milage at the price is supposed to be decent with them.

    I've used Michelin latitude cross for the last 5 years or so. Not hugely cheap, but get great mileage. Not bad on fuel/noise either. Grip on road is very good, and I've never had it stuck in the soggy stuff either.

    I have BF Goodrich all terrains on my jeep. They are a great all round tyre, good on the road, not too noisey, but a bit of a hum, surprisingly high wet weather rating and obviously decent off road and in the snow.

    They are expensive, but I have used BF Goodrich ATs for years and they last for ages, so work out to be good value.

    The ones I have now are the newer version, All Terrain (A/T) KO2. They have better sidewall protection and sidewall grips

    265/70 R16 is a very comon size so you will have loads of choice, the most common sizes tend to be cheaper,
