Breaking notice advice

I handed notice into my current job six weeks ago. I had thought my notice period was one month but my contract actually states three months. I'm owed two weeks annual leave.

I think three months is excessive and want to leave asap. If I leave now can my current employer withhold my salary or holiday pay?

References aren't a problem as I'm on good terms with almost everyone in the company.

You may think it excessive, but it is what you agreed to if it is on your contract. You must have carried over holidays if you have 2 weeks to take this early in the year, ask them if you can use holiday leave during your notice period.
