    Hi guys,
I finished my contract with my previous employer on November 30 2017, and I started my contract with my current employer the 19th of December. But I didn’t get paid with my new employer until January 2018. I contacted my new employer asking for p60 but they said they can’t since I started getting paid only January. So how do I claim my tax back for the year 2017? Can I do that with a p45?

If you're registered for ROS you could file an online Form 12 for 2017.

He just needs to ask for a P21 from Revenue. Just make sure they are in a tax refund position rather than tax payable. No need to bother with a P45 as revenue will have the info on their system.

Late 2017 work was paid in 2018, so no P60 from 2017.
