Mobile Broadband with Land line Options

I live in a rural area where there is no broadband so we have to rely on mobile broadband.
I like to keep my bills together so I desperately would love to keep my landlines and mobile broadband on the same bill.
I have PAYG for my mobile phone and it's a really good deal so I'm keeping that separate.

My dilemma is- Eir are currently upping my plan by €6pm and I want to see if I can get a better deal, however I am aware that most providers don't combine mobile broadband and landline.
My current Eir package is €70pm for all calls on the landline (mobile calls included and UK calls, even though I don't need UK calls). I also get 100gb data pm on mobile broadband.

I'd love to hear from people in the same predicament without broadband.
I need a minimum of 100gb data for a streaming loving child! Ideally unlimited broadband would be ideal but I don't think we have that option.

Drop the landline and use a VOIP deskphone in its place. Goldfish/Blueface/Skype whoever.

    Saving will be huge.

I should add that my elderly mum is living with us currently and a landline is an absolute must for her.
She's not able to use technology even a mobile so our options are limited.

Thats fine. If she can use a regular cordless, she can use a VOIP phone. Wouldnt notice anything has changed most likely.

But do you know if you can get that without fixed line broadband and sorry to be stupid but would the connection be intermittent like Skype can be.
She would really bawk at the idea of it not being a landline.

I would say you have to chance a €100 or so to buy a phone set and see how does it work for you, I have Goldfish, it works fine.
