Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am running windows 7 computer and I want to encrypt the hard drive in case that my computer is ever stolen and to protect the data.

Can anyone recommend any way or softwear that I can use to help me encypt the hard drive.

Windows 7 only supports bitlocker for ultimate and enterprise I think, home or pro versions won't do.

You could use a tool from here or consider a cloud storage option.

Anything important I have backed up to one of these

Can I still buy windows 7 ultimate or enterprise editions.

If I update the OS to windows 10 will it allow me to encrypt the hard drive with bit locker

Yes if you upgrade you will be able to utilise bitlocker - probably the easiest option unless there's some restriction on upgrading!
