    Just said it there about you can apply for urgent needs payment for the cold

    No details giving you think it would be easy to get?

    The same way you apply for an urgent needs assistance ,
    Make an appointment with your local cwo and they will either give you something or not

    If there's a genuine reason - for example your boiler blowing up - then you should be able to get the payment very quickly, especially if you can provide a repair/replacement quotation on headed paper.
