    Hello,

my question relates to householders who identify and repair their own internal leaks on their property in 2018 without the use of an investigation by Irish Water. Can you confirm if they will be subject to excess useage charges now or in the future? Thankyou.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your message.

Domestic water charges have been suspended since March 2016. There are no current charges for excess water usage in place.

    Thanks,
    Agata
