    Hi,
I have six unused, but expired jext adrenaline auto injectors, that I am trying to dispose of responsibly. The pharmacy that dispensed it refused to take them. The hospital refused to take them. GP also no. Each of them telling me to go to the other. Its very frustrating when you are trying to do the right thing, but I'm sure lots of people must dispose of them in the bin because its hard to get rid of them. Anyway, has anyone experience of this, that has found someone to take them. Would appreciate any suggestions, around the kildare area.

Hi Cnaipi, it might be worth contacting your local health office to see if they have facility for disposal of adrenaline pens. A lot of pharmacy disposal systems do not accept sharps (i.e. anything with a needle).

thanks for your response. I will definitely try them, although I have a feeling they may suggest the same places :-(

Hopefully they can suggest a route for disposal. Do let us know if you have any luck as it may help others!
