Planing promision for small toilet window on side of the house.

Hi dose anyone know do I need planing promision to add an windows in downstairs toilet on side of the house so it’s not visible on the front it will be on side and this is corner house and big fences between my neighbors. All information welcome thank you&#55358;&#56599;&#55358;&#56599;

What’s the distance from the wall to the existing boundary?

Measure properly.
You may be exempt. But get someone to advise on the ground.
Or you can lodge a Section 5 application with the council asking if you need permission and they will give an official Response.

You apply to the council.

Specific section 5 form
OSi map of site
Drawing or photos or illustrations help also.
Lodge with council and pay the €80 fee.

They will come back to you within 5 weeks I believe.

What Council area are you in?

If its 900mm from the boundary it needs planning.

Yes it is about 1000mm but no neighbors house just a naighbours garden
