    Hi blade1,

Unfortunately the 8396 is not a model we stock. We do have the KD55XE8596 at 999 euro. This has a superior panel with faster motion processing and better colour and brightness.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind regards

    David

    Hi Blade1.

There is the Sony 55XE7002 coming in at 749.00 Euro
    http://euro.richersounds.ie/p-202710-sony-bravia-kd55xe7002.aspx

Does it have to be a Sony that you are after and is it also a 55" that you are looking for?

    Hey Blade1.

If its android you are after its going to be a Sony at the moment, unless you go for the Philips OLED ;)

The starting point would be the Sony 49XE8004 which is priced at 749.00 Euro. Includes our 6 year guarantee free of charge and also delivery.

Thats the one I asked about in my original post.
Can you tell me what's the difference between that and the Sony 8396 that Currys and Harvey Norman are selling for the same price?

    Hi Blade1.

To be honest as the 8396 is not a television that we have stocked I am not up to speed on its spec or performance.

As far as I can see from searching on Sony's website the 8396 has a faster motion processor. The rest of the spec/ features are pretty much the same.

    Hi Blade1.

    Thanks for the order.

The pallet is only leaving our main warehouse this afternoon, so i don't have a tracking number just yet.
As soon as the courier forwards me them I will pass it onto yourself.

The courier will drop you a text regarding your delivery with their contact number should you need to re arrange.

    TV arrived yesterday!
    Lovely TV.
2 little issues that I can't seem to sort.
Can't get it to pair with any of my Bluetooth headphones.
Is there any way around this or will I need a bluetooth adapter?

    Also, the IR Blaster.
I have set it up and it works doing the tests for the codes.
It says it set up successfully but then nothing works.
It's 6 year old  LG home cinema.
    Any thoughts?

    Hey Blade1.

I've done some checking and came across the following on Sony's website:

It depends on the TV model and Bluetooth device. Bluetooth headphones can only be used with the following models. Please make sure that your model is in the list.
    Applicable TV models
A2DP (Bluetooth headphone) functionality is applicable for the following TV series (after OS nougat update):
    • XE85
    • XE90
    • XE93
    • XE94
    • A1
    [*]
It would seem that you will require a Bluetooth adapter to connect your headphones to.
We stock the Mee Audio transmitter priced at £49.00
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202094-aft-1-connect.aspx

I'm not sure on the IR Blaster you could drop Sony a call on 03304402060. This puts you straight through to their tech team.

I'll also do a little checking online and see if I can find anything.
