hello, I wonder if you can shed some light on below.

me and my wife are both working and under paye. We are jointly assessed as married couple. Third income is from letting a house, only me as registered landlord (I file taxes via ROS/F11, also jointly).

Now, my wife wants a break from work.
If we notify revenue after she left work- how are we going to be paying taxes: is our tax rate band will remain at €69,100 (my paye + rent income= 2 incomes) or at €43,550 because no income registered under her name??

    thanks in advance

You can't transfer all of her tax bands so your tax band will be €43,550.
