Fiesta 1.4 tdci EGR valve block/delete

    Hi folks ive a 2008 fiesta 1.4tdci and ive the problem of my egr valve sticking open.
    Would anyone be able to tell me the consequence of blocking off my egr or deleting it from the system. If anyone else has experienced this i would like to hear how your car reacted to the valve sticking open and how you solved it.

    Would you not just take it out and clean it?
