If a class D public servant moved in 2005 from commercial semi state to local authority what is their min retirement age? 60 or 65(66?)?
Semi state pension was preserved and service not carried over...

Public service employees commenting post April 2004 have a min retirement age of 65 (or 66 or whatever) but Class D public servants can retire at 60.

    Anyone any ideas?

    ?
I would assume that the frozen benefits would pay at 60 as per your old employment contract.
And whatever benefits accrued with the new employment would pay out at the appropriate point under your new contract of employment.

    Strange that no transfer happened.

Probably a good idea would be to get professional advice as to your specific circumstances.
