Could anyone recommend a 7 seater based on a €6k budget? Would it be best looking in the UK or sticking to home? Tax will be a big factor for me as is fuel efficiency. Not really concerned about power.

Have been looking briefly on the British car Auctions website but not sure if €6k would be enough given I'd have VRT to pay.

do you need 7 full seats (like a Ford Galaxy) or 5 full seats and 2 occasional seats (think Ford Grand CMax, Toyota Verso etc)

    Do you do much mileage?

Occasional 7 seats would probably do. I'd be driving it to work which is about 330km per week and then occasional short trips after that.

For 6k you’d pick up a 2008 Ford smax titanium here.
I imagine for that money you’d get a 2009-2010 inform the uk?

Keep in mind VRT on a 2010 is around €2700, you’d need to allow €400 for travel, so you’re only left with €2900 for the which is only a shade over £2500

A Volkswagen Touran 2009, 1.9L Diesel. Find it great so far.
