police disclosures

    greetings everybody,

I have been just offered a position by public jobs here in Ireland. One of the requirements is that i must produce a police disclosure for every country that i have lived in for last 18 years since i left college in Dublin

I was in New Zealand in 2003 for 12 months on a working holiday visa, i didn't over stay and i was the perfect guest so no problems there . I did a google search and it appears that the police don't provide disclosures or vetting services for the individual but only for organisations or companies.i kept googling and the next option i could find was to request a copy of an individuals criminal history from the Ministry of Justice .Is this what i must do to fullfill the disclosure requirement ?

Also i am now back living at home in Ireland for last 8 years after spending 3 years working in the UK. It seems disclosureScotland is the agency to deal with but since i am not UK based it is a postal service only. There are third parties offering a quicker service online but it's a more expensive option but it is hard to know who to use and any documents that you must upload must be UK verified.

Thanks in advance for your help .I would be interested in hearing if any one was in a similar position and what exactly they did or what to do ? Its so confusing!!!!
