    Hey guys,

Was driving home earlier and all of a sudden the dash on my e90 lit up like a christmas tree. When I stopped I checked the CC-ID codes on the dash and got codes 42, 50 and 236. I Googled these codes and they are 'Brake and Driving Control Failure', 'Tyre Monitoring Failure' and 'Brake and Stability Systems Failure'. The car needs new brake pads all 'round which it's getting done on Saturday but I doubt it would have anything to do with the above. Anyone any ideas what the problem could be?

Heres a photo of the fault lights.

    Cheers.

Probably an ABS sensor or similar. Not big money to fix.

Probably a frayed or corroded wire in the loom

My guess would be the drive shaft rings for the abs pick up. These are common fault and I’ve changed loads of them. So most of the time you can get away with the repair kit of two abs rings and 2 sensors and go that route. But then I’ve also had afew times where I’ve had to replace the driveshaft because it was to fair gone.
If u need any more if just ask
