Hi all, my daughter's birthday is coming up, and we are considering what to do for it. I thought I'd ask here, and maybe this thread could serve as a resource for the future too.

    Play areas:
    Kidstown
    Jumplanes
    Delta Adventure City
    Tons of Fun

    Cooking Classes:
    Recipe4success in Annacotty

    Pottery Classes:

Claire Jordan Ceramics (don't know if this is still available)

    Swimming:
Aura in Grove Island has some party events

    Bowling:
Funworld do a bowling + party deal.

    Paintball:
    Splatball, near Kidstown in Corbally

    Rollerskating:
    Rollerjam

    Go-karting:
    Delta Karting
    National Kart Centre (NKC)

Any other ideas or things you know about, please post them up here.

We have done the Kidstown parties and would highly recommend it, if you decide on this just book an early party from 2 it gets a bit busy.

If its this week the circus is in town also.

She will be 11 so a bit too old for indoor play areas like Kidstown.

She has been to the cookery school party before and enjoyed it, but we would like to try something new if we can.

Just wondering what else is out there for a group of about 8 girls of that age.

Spalttown is beside kidstown, and I seen a climbing wall there recently too. There is also gokarting in corbally and near delta. Rollerjam in Limerick for rollerskating. UL sports hall do birthday parties, which can include a range of activities including bouncing castles. Few places do girls pamper parties as well.

I saw a kids party in Miss Marples (Father Russel Rd) once. They were about 10. They seems to get a great kick out of the afternoon tea, pouring hot chocolate from teapots etc.

Milano's pizza place was quite good... The kids get to make an eat there own pizzas. It worked well with the 12 - 14 group..
