    No replys in the general forum.

    In a nutshell, the /Mod deletion/ gardas from where I'm living decided to raid me about 14 months ago.
    I've never dealt a drug in my life, I'm a cannabis smoker of maybe 6/7 years.
    When they came in the door I was asleep, and didn't here them pronounce themselves as gardai, so I just ran out of my bed and ran at them.
    Never through a punch, just grabbed two of them in a head brace(they were plain clothed) , which was quickly dissolved wants another 5/6 gardai(uniformed/plain clothes) entered my home and gave me a doing I quickly realised what was happening and who they were so I stopped being aggressive.
    They carried out there raid.
    They found 3g of cannabis. Herb
    And 1 seedling in a pot. No lighting setup.
    The seedling was probably 2 weeks old max. Was basically a 2inch stem and 2 Cotyledons. No actually cannabis leaves even got to grow.
    It was my first attempt at growing. Nobody knew but 1 'friend'.
    Beggers my belief, how they even suspected I'd be growing,and it was only 2weeks. Literally just popped from the seed!

    They wouldn't even know I smoked.
    So anyhow, fast forward to today
    The gaurds informed my solicitor there were charging the plant at between 8-900 euros and I'm being charged under cannabis cultivation.

    And there not charging me having the cannabis herb.??

    I don't know how to get my head around all of this....
    I'm not a trouble maker, far from it, i'v 2 previous convictions from 2004 2006.

    Q, 1Is there any possible grounds I can fight this and what they are trying to do...?
    Q.2 If I am truly afraid for my personal wellbeing and safety because of threats and harresment from gardai, who can I go to about it...?

    The charter specifically prohibits threads about drugs and legal advice cannot be given on this website.

    You mentioned that you have a solicitor, so your solicitor is the person you should be directing your queries to.
