Swimming Pool & Facilities Dublin

I live in South Dublin - Not far from Westwood Leopardstown.

I'm looking for somewhere with a good pool and some other facilities like jacuzzi and steam room etc. as my wife is pregnant and I think this would be good for her in the months ahead. I looked up westwood online and it said prices from €0.83 per day so I thought I'd happily pay that price for a pool membership. However when I rang he said you need to come in to see us so we can tailor your needs and I asked what was the rough prices so he said €57 - €97 per month. When I asked about the €0.83/day on the website they said that was a kids rate. :(

Now the thing is I don't really want to spend €200/month for us to go to the pool. I have access to a pool with work but no good for the wife.

Does anyone have any suggestions for the area?

You should check out the public pool in Meadowbrook. which is close to Dundrum.

Its not open all the time, as its booked by schools for a lot of the day, but its pay as you go, so no commitment required.

You could also use loughlinstown pool and gym and the new gym in ballyogan with the same membership. Both are close to you and there’s also Monkstown which isn’t to far either that you could use

Sorry it was on the phone so hoping a remember correctly:
Westwood €59 per month off peak; €97 per month on peak (i think there is a joining fee too)
UCD couples membership €104 per month off peak; €141 on peak (don't think there is a joining fee)
