Industry or Consulting?

    Hi All,

    I am a recent graduate with ~3 years industry experience (Life Sciences). I have recently been offered a consulitng role with a leading professional services company.

    I applied for the position because I was unhappy with the slow pace of progression in industry and I want to develop my business knowledge more quickly in a fast pace environment. I also believe that I have scope to earn more in the long run with a career in Management Consulting.

    I would be interested to hear from anyone who has made this switch either way. What are the pros / cons? I should also mention that I am very much a people person and I look forward to the idea of working with clients daily.
