Nothing to do on internship

I'm currently undertaking an internship in an architects office as a part of my college study. I'm on week 3 and work is drying up a bit. When I ask my project leader if thers anything for me to do he either says "sit tight and I'll have something for you soon" or gives me a trivial task that I end up having to stretch out to last me the day.

I'm not complaining, I know I'm not qualified to do much and this is a functioning business, my manager is a very busy person and can't be finding things for me to do all day.

What should I do to fill my time? Again don't wanna keep asking for jobs as nobody has any for me. Am I safe to go on forums such as boards.ie and backroads? Or should I just listen to my podcasts staring at a blank screen

Could you ask a junior who's doing some drafting to see if you can sit beside them and watch them doing CAD? Better than a blank screen. Maybe ask to go on any site visits. Just observing would be interesting.

Over 20 years ago I did my school work experience in a architect's office. I worked all day using a smelly ammonia printer to print large format plans. I didn't really learn anything about architecture.

If you are getting no joy do some online tutorials while you are waiting for them to assign you work
