Ryanair's reservation system can no longer support Firefox!

Firefox is one of the largest browsers on the market. The latest version 58.0.1 will not work on ryanair.ie. I asked them for comment and the response was that their new website can only be guaranteed to work with Google Chrome. (With Firefox, when you get to entering the payment card details, the card number and related fields do not show on ryanair.ie - just the address fields).

There is no notice presented to Firefox users before they waste 20 minutes or so reserving a flight, for the transaction to be dumped at the last minute. It also does not work with the Apple browser apparently.

If Ryanair can't handle all major browsers, can they handle general computer security? They (illegally in my view) suck in huge amounts of personal information eg passport/id numbers, expiry dates, payment card details, into their data warehouses. Which PI is at risk to hackers from anywhere on the planet.

Governments have largely self-exempted themselves from fines for breach of computer security - while imposing 2% of sales fines on the private sector. In things we can see, the public sector does a far poorer job than the private sector in most lines of business - eg health in Switzerland and Netherlands which are private and work well -v- the Irish largely government run and owned 'system'.
