Hi. Looking for ideas for a coloured shoe. has anyone any pics of their shoes if in colour? No preconceived ideas on the "colour" as such but want something different to the norm. I've read that it might be an idea to match with bridemaids/ bouquet? No bridesmaids so only the bouquet there to work with, if so. I beleive it is popular to go with blue shoes but would be wary of the shade of blue. My dress is full length to the ankle so they will be in full view! Simple straight ivory dress.Minimal ivory beading detail.

Have you looked into Rainbow Club shoes?

I got mine from shoes of prey and they were custom made in purple silk. Pricy, but unique and definitely rewearable.

Mine were Rachel Simpson Mimosa heels in pale blue, they were 220 (I think) but so comfortable and pretty!

I had these too! And my bouquet was ivory with blue thistles and other pale blue flowers in it. I also had a pale blue nail polish. (Can't add a photo on the app..)

They custom dye the shoes so there's actually tonnes of colours to choose from!

These are mine. Nude louboutins, I wanted something I would wear again. And my bridesmaids were in nude coloured dresses.

My dress was by Jenny Packham and called Eden, in ivory (I don't know how to embed pics sorry!) it was floor length so the shoes showed when I walked, and the shoes were genuinely so comfortable!

Your dress was devine! I'm wondering about jewellery. Does shoe colour influence jewellery? I'm looking at the whole RS collection, she also has a lovely rose gold/ gold and silver shoe. What type jewellery did you go for?

I love these! But they are too high. Anyone see a modified version? Doesn't need the bow, just that gold sparkly idea with a lower heel?

Beautiful shoes but be careful-the shoes I originally bought were similar and when I went for my dress fitting the glitter kept catching on my dress as it was slim fitting. So if your dress is in any way slim be mindful of glitter, I ended up having to buy new shoes a few weeks before the wedding because of it! My jewelery was very simple, art deco earrings from Newbridge Silver and that was it!

Mine was oreste by pronovias, long aswell so shoes showed when I walked too.. Jewellery wise I just had small silver and pearl drop earrings and a silver and pearl bracelet.. If the shoes were gold or silver I'd match the jewellery to them but that's me I'd be fussy about it! :-)

I think these are really different but damned stilletto heel. I love the detail on thee heel and the bit of colour. They are in pink too.

Anyone see anything similar with lower heel?

I had jimmy choos Luna in the link below.

So comfortable and I have even worn them with jeans since. There are 3 different heel heights with same glitter finish. My dress was ivory and lace

They're v nice. To consider for sure!

Kitten heels are very in even tho I'd normally rather a mid- height. Just not seeing anything I like in the mid heel.

Those are the ones i wore with my dress, it was more off white than true ivory but they would go with any colour! You posted about goldie sparkly ones with the bow- did you see the new RS ones that are gold and sparkly? Mid size heel too!

remembering your advice but so keen for these

My dress will be cut to just above the ankle ( not yet altered) . Would it have been more of an issue for a longer dress that covers the shoes? My dress shouldn't touch the shoes.
(in hope that these willbe the ones!)

To those who bought, it says on website that you may need to go down a size? I'm normally a 41, so would I go for a 40? What's your experience? Thanks.

I'd say if your dress is a bit shorter you'll be grand, mine covered my shoes. I ended up getting my Rachel Simpsons in a size smaller than I'd ever be, there is a stockist in Galway where you can buy them (or at least try on a pair in a different colour so you can order them!). I think it's called Vintage Pearl Bridal

I'm a wide fitting 39 and 39 fit me spot on so if you have narrow feet maybe a size smaller yeah..

I got mine from Vintage Pearl Bridal in Galway alright! Olga is who I was talking to she is so lovely! She charged 10euro shipping but they came all wrapped lovely with a hand written note! So sweet!

I had these in this blue colour. I loved them so much and they weren't too high. They come in gold and multi colour too.
