Disgraceful end to the piece in Barlo Nissan in Kilkenny when the customer and the sales man make a dogs .... out of connecting up the FCP.

IMO the news guy has an anti EV agenda.

Will be alerting Barlo in the am

ps weather front interesting here just now

I saw that, it was like they purposely made it look awkward to try to charge the car, something like that would put people off.

Looked bad alright, first lady couldn't do ,then salesman, as if he said let me show you and then he struggled with it, surely cant be that hard to insert?

Didn't realise CHAdeMO was so hard to connect, if a trained professional can't connect them how are all the normal Leaf owners managing to do it.

I guess it explains why so many charge to 100%, it's probably just as awkward to disconnect.

    What an absolute hatchet job.

If I was in Nissan Ireland I’d be making my way to Barlo first thing this morning looking for the responsible persons head on a plate. How did they leave that nonsense get filmed or allowed on TV?

just called Barlo, the woman has the car for a while and was flustered by the camera in her face as she arrived during the filming.

I didn't ask who was the assistant..
    Hatchet job indeed

    :D:D

I've used that charger a few times and never had an issue, ahem, inserting.

However, it's a damn sight more difficult to disconnect from it so that would have made even "better" tv

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Dear oh dear. I rarely venture out of the Dublin area, but it goes to show how backward most of Ireland still is. Reminds me of the divorce referendum in '97:

Greater Dublin area: 70% in favour
Rest of the country: 70% against

Do the good simple folk down the country think those fukcers McQuaid and de Valera are still alive and watching them or something?

Wow, just wow. What an ignorant insulting comment.

I suppose the Pale is a realm of enlightenment, wisdom and virtue,
*cough* Charile 'King of rat of Kinsealy' Haughey
*cough* Bertie 'Never had a bank account' Ahern
*cough* Liam 'I'm on the take' Lawlor

Oh, and I'm a Dub by the way. Now what Dev, McQuaid and Divorce had to do with a Nissan Leaf is beyond me.

Slight correction, he had a thing for referring to himself in the third person!
