Dell battery/charger replacement

Looking to replace the battery (and the charger) on a Dell Inspiron N5110. Looking at the generic replacements and wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on any local suppliers and how they got on with the replacement.

Edit. Laptop originally came with 65w charger. Had the power jack changed last year and the guy gave me a 90w charger (the original charger was falling apart). Laptop has started prompting me to replace the charger. Should I go back to the 65w charger. Has the 90w charger been too much for the laptop - fan has been going hard lately. Are they compatible?

    Thanks.

could have a look here for options for decent quality batteries and maybe chargers
    http://www.duracelldirect.ie/laptop-notebook/dell/inspiron-n5110-battery-adapter-charger.html

laptop should only draw the power it needs.

bad quality chargers more likely to fail obviously.

Go into the BIOS and on the first page near the bottom see if the laptop identifies the charger. It should say something like "90 Watt Charger" beside it.

If it says Unidentified Charger then your machine will throttle the CPU causing it to run slower, the battery won't charge properly or fully while the machine is in use. This could be why it's asking you to replace the charger ?

If the original charger comes on (green LED on) and the plug looks in ok condition then try it ?
