    Hi

I just received my amp and subwoofer and this is my first time setting up a sound system. I'd like to know how to connect my AMP to subwoofer. Attached are two images.

The amp seems to have two outputs for a subwoofer. I think I need to connect the first one to my subwoofer but the subwoofer has a L and R input. Do I need to split a sound cable into them both?

Also what is the name of the audio cable connector that goes into these ports? I bought some audio cable but I need a special connector for the subwoofer ports

    Hi Blackwizard,

The subwoofer outputs on your amp are for 2 subs. As a sub has it's own amp built in you need a single phono cable connected from Output 1 to the Left connection on your sub. The cable is usually called a sublink cable but you can also use the Left (white) side of a red and white phono cable. The second output on the amp is there in case you want to add a secondary sub.

Let me know if you have any issues.

    Kind regards

    David
