    June
    15 nights
4 males, mid-20s. Interested in relaxing, socialising, music and outdoor activities.

    Draft plan is something like
    - Austin (4 nights)
    - New Orleans (5 nights)
    - Nasvhille (2 nights)
    - ?? (3-4 nights remaining)

Hope to rent car & drive between destinations (we can split driving between us).

Ideally we would like to finish the trip off in a beach-y destination to unwind after the city destinations. Any suggestions on where to go?

Somewhere like California or Miami would be ideal but are a bit far (we could use internal flights)?

I've heard there isn't a lot to see in Houston which is why I haven't included in the above (despite being en route). Open to correction!

You will love Austin. Sixth Street is famous for it's parties. I've never been to New Orleans, although I'm sure you'll have a good time. Nashville will be really fun.
It's at least an 8 hour drive from Austin to New Orleans and another 7 to 8 hours from New Orleans to Nashville, so you'll lose at least a day or 2 while driving. If you start in Nashville and work your way down, you could go from Austin to South Padre Island for a little fun in the sun and the beach. It is quite the party spot also. Lots of fun things to do there, too.
Good luck and hope you have a great time!
