So I've been trying to find a way to watch the super bowl in Ireland from an American broadcast so as to get all the movie trailers etc which are such an integral part of the experience (at least in my view). Came across this thread from three years ago which gives details on an NFL satellite broadcast for foreign viewers:

Just wondering if these values can be punched in to a standard sky+ installation - sky dish, sky box - using the "add custom channels" feature? And if so, how would I configure it correctly?

I would say forget about that idea.

You would need to have a big dish pointed at the right satellite to have any chance of catching a similar feed.

Those parameters were for a satellite at 15° West
A dish for sky in Ireland is pointed at 28° East

Even if you had the right equipment, there still would be no guarantee. Sorry.

Fair enough, might try to get a proper setup in place in time for next year! Cheers

The NFL themselves are promoting GamePass as the way to get the full US experience including Football Night in America (all 5 hours of it) and yes the commercials.

As for me, I couldn’t sit through that long a build up. It’s on both Sky Sports (including Sky Sports Mix for basic package customers), and the BBC with no commercials.

The feeds for Europe will be on 10E/22W.

You need a motorised dish preferably 1 metre at least. You'll also need a dvb-s2 satellite box that is not a Sky box.
