Mk2 05 skoda octavia 1.4 epc and asr warning lights

    Hi all
    Any help or pointers would be grateful

    Car throws up the epc and asr warning lights and into limp mode,on off and resets until it lights come back on and into limp
    Brake lights ok
    Had scanned
    Signal to low at throttle also signal at peddle to low
    Cleaned throttle didnt touch flap and still doing same
    Anybody point me in the right direction or Encountered something similar

    Sounds like a bad throttle position sensor..

    does your car have a pedal sensor, or throttle body sensor, or both?
    Try spraying wd40 into the sensor; if it helps, then its probably wear in sensor.

    There is a possibility there's moisture in the wiring also. seems to be fairly common..!

    Ive took out the body and cleaned it
    The scan did say about signal low at throttle pedal
    Reading on the skoda forums there is mention of coolant leaking from a sensor or switch and wicking into cables also possibility of water or such entering the ecu, i just popped in here to see if any of the regulars have seen this.
    I am loosing a tiny amount of coolant but nothing drastic.
    Also mention of a map/maf sensor but having difficulty locating it on the BAC engine.
