    Hi

In Dublin and currently after a 4k 65" TV....

Current setup is satellite feed and antenna going to a 42" plasma 720p around 4 years old with a Humax Freesat box to watch/record UK TV and also Irish channels watch only with no record.
So would like something with the Freesat TV guide built in with same ability to record shows/series.

Also would like a soundbar to enjoy spotify music when TV is off as well as improve sound for movies.

    What would you recommend?

    Thanks!

    Hi Kubed.

There are a few screens with satellite tuners on boards but they are not Freesat approved. They will still pickup the stations but some times the EPG can have problems which might affect recording series link etc....

Screens like the LG 65UJ670 priced at £999.00 have the satillete tuner onboard.

The Samsung 65MU7000 is Freesat approved. Priced at £1299.00

Panasonic have their 65EX750 which is also freesat approved coming in at £1499.00 (In store only collection)

What sort of budget are you setting for the soundbar as there are many many options.

Was looking at the Samsung MU8000 65"

How would the Pana 65EX750 compare to this for £100 more? This is my first LCD TV, previously had Panasonic 42" budget plasmas which I was happy with for the price and technology of the time

For soundbar was looking at Samsung HWMS650 as online reviews are favourable and the cashback offer with TV looked good. First time to buy a soundbar - main reason to go for soundbar is for a clean look with a single unit rather than hifi plus speakers or surround

    Hi Kubed.

The 65MU8000 is also a very good television. Stock is super tight on these with only a handful left.
They are currently priced at £1399.00

Pairing it with the MS650 soundbar would be a nice setup and as you say the Samsung money back offer saves you a nice few quid.
I have the MS650 currently in stock.

The Panasonic 750 is one of their Hollywood tuned screens with the chipset being actually tuned in Hollywood.
The Panasonic would need collected from the Belfast store as they can not be shipped unfortunately. Again stock on these is even tighter in our main warehouse.

Would there be a possibility of a drop to a smaller size?

Samsung produce there fantastic QLED's which are stunning in picture quality.
There is the 55Q7F priced at £1299.00

LG also have their OLED the 55B7 it is priced at 1699 Euro. (The euro pricing on this is cheaper than the sterling - £1799)

    Hi

Thanks for the reply. Would prefer to go for the 65" as the room will take it. The Q7 65" is too pricey so the MU8000 looks better.

I will give you a call later.

    Thanks!
