Help please - total novice

    Would really appreciate any assistance as we're clueless on home security options. Buying a new build and at the point where we have to make decisions about security.We would like a video intercom and a monitored alarm system. Two basic questions-
    - The builder has said to us that if we want wiring for an intercom, we need to let him know now. Are most video intercom systems wired or wireless?

    - Can anyone recommend a Dublin based company that would install and monitor an alarm system for us. Also a company for the intercom. Ideally one that does both!

    Thanks for any help and sorry for the very basic nature of these questions!
