HKC Alarm app - no notifications!!

Can anyone shed any light on this. I sounded the alarm a few times today and within a couple of minutes I get a text msg to say that the alarm has been activated. However, I have the app on my phone and can log in and works normally but I am not getting any app notifications like I used to.
