    You also need to ask what type of driving is being done. You will get wildly different answers for the same car depending on whether it is driven around a city or at 120km/h on the motorway.

    Also, its hard to answer it even with that because a lot of owners won't be driving their cars to empty.

    Maybe a better question is what kWh/100km are you getting.
    A bit like asking mpg instead of how much do you get to a tank of diesel!

    Don't actually know my full range as I have home charger and work charger so never need to worry about it. I drive it normally everyday, heater and AC on constantly, especially during the last winter. I just drive and charge when required.

    I have noticed a big decease in range in winter months but as long as your well within the range limits, you don't have to worry about it.

    He's done lots of EV reviews in norwegian winter. The last one of the new kia soul 30kWh was done in -12c weather

    141 24kwh Leaf.

    I did a 40 mile round trip last night. Started with 76% and got home with 9%.

    And about 15 miles of it was done with great caution to be sure I didn't leave myself short as the last mile is all uphill.

    It was very wet and windy though, and about 4°.

    On a motorway in that weather I'd barely get 50 miles from a full charge.

    As mentioned above depends entirely on the scenario.

    I'm driving an Ioniq. I've actually seen some of worst efficiency during winter with city driving, because I generally don't care. :) I usually end up doing lots of short trips, I'm heating the cabin up from scratch every time I get in the car and I drive without any care for range or efficiency as I'm not far from a charger anyway.

    For me:
    City: ~140km (20kWh/100km)
    Rural (100km/h max, mostly 70-80km/h avg.) : ~200km (14kWh/100km)
    Motorway (120km/h max, mostly 110km/h avg.) : ~160km (17kWh/100km)

    2015 Porsche Cayenne e-hybrid. Most I have ever got from a 100% battery is 16 miles / 25 km. In winter, with heater on, lights on, and driving in Dublin City traffic it drops to 8 miles.

    33 Kwh, about 22-23 Kwh/100 kms driving 120-140 km/h.

    Around 18 Kwh/100km " 100 Km/h ish.

    Yeah, how many KMs can you get from the REX on motorway?

    REX adds 134km according to the EPA.

    Does the i3 have 33kWh usable? So based on what you're seeing, 150km (22kWh/100km) + 100km on petrol on the motorway?

    When I got the i3 it showed 29 Kwh usable if that's changed I don't know, haven't checked it since, I don't know if that will go up and down like the Leaf depending on usage.

    Just took her for a long spin today, 215 Kms, I honestly can't remember how many Kms was covered on EV, started out with 80%.

    At 100-105 Kph Level ground it will hold the range exactly as is. At 120 Kph it will drop about 4% per 40-45 Kms, depending on conditions it could drop a bit more/faster , when you are at slower speeds it will climb back up again a few %.

    I have yet to drive it when it kicks in automatically at around 6% and drive it at 120 kmh and climb a hill. etc.

    2nd fill of petrol since last week in November ! remember it's an 8 litre tank.

    So in 215 Kms and 80% charge I used about 6 litres of petrol. Mix of driving, 80-100-110-120 etc. Used petrol on the motorway and battery on slower roads and a mix in between. I think the trick is to use petrol on the faster roads as soon as it allows at 75% battery.

    Basically the Rex means you can drive the car as long as you have petrol.

    Route was Carlow to Castledermot - M9 via Old N9 to Kilcullen - St Stephens Green via M9 / N7 and the same back to Castledermot but via Crookstown Exit on the M9 this time, then from Castledermot to Athy, Stradbally , Carlow.

    All on 80% battery and probably used close to a full tank of petrol and I didn't have to restrict speed and it was cold, no heat pump.

    Efficiency wasn't as good as I thought either, 19 Kwh/100 kms by the time I got home helped by the slower National routes but I saw 23 Kwh/100 Km at one point and I wasn't tipping 140 Kmh like I usually do on the way home from work. Probably the cold.

    Cold, Wet Wind etc doesn't matter at all.

    It's such a Shame Nissan or Toyota never came up with a similar setup. I guarantee they would have sold far far more.

    By the way, this is the 33 Kwh i3 Rex which has a more powerful generator, how the 22 Kwh Rex fairs in similar conditions I can not say.

    Anyway , with the Rex you can drive anywhere as long as you got petrol and if you're really paranoid you can carry a can of petrol in the boot but petrol stations are vastly more available than CCS chargers, hence the reason for buying the Rex version, am I glad I did ? absolutely 100% , couldn't be happier !

    On the way home I said to herself , will I stop in Naas for a quick top up ? then I sad, hell no, I don't have to and will pay for the petrol for the few trips a year I need to which will no doubt be a lot more than in the 24 Kwh Leaf. IF I had been on my own I may have gone to the Naas charger and if busy could have drove off again but it was good to say I didn't have to go there at all. I think back to the 2nd last trip in the Leaf where the Naas charger was down and I had to use the SCP instead. Never have to do that again with the Rex but I was happy to have the 6.6 Kw charger, It saved my bacon that day !

    I think I'd throw a genny and a jerry can of petrol in the boot rather than ever having to stop at that joke of an FCP again :)

    2015 Zoe 22kw - 121-125km. That's driving with the heat on and never using Eco mode. Up and down the Wicklow mountains into Donnybrook daily. So glad I got a Zoe and not a Leaf, It's 46km each way and I never worry about range even in the worst of weather.
