Worth getting on a car? I was told it’s costs €300, this is a swizz right?

There are many sealants out there, cheaper and better
I suggest Collinite845 but others will have other options I'm sure:)

If you are considering paying 300 for it to be done; pay a Pro Detailer to apply a proper coating!

For lack of a better word it's ****e, for not a lot extra you can have an actual Detailer apply a Ceramic Coating that will actually last the claimed time.

Generally sounds like a waste of money, who are the likes would do this coating?

Have a look at the following videos to see the difference between Diamondbrite and Gtechniq Crystal Serum/EXO. You'll notice that Diamondbrite is nowhere near as professional looking a product as Gtechniq and the differences in application, residue removal, curing time etc. are vastly different.

Main difference - Diamondbrite is applied outdoors on a dull-looking day. Gtechniq products are only done indoors to avoid dust adhesion, water contact etc. in order for it to cure for 12 hours before coming into contact with the elements.

Diamondbrite is more of a liquid sealant like Jetseal etc. whereas the Gtechniq products are nano/ceramic coatings.

Other products like Gtechniq are CarPro CQuartz CQUK, GEYON etc. but I haven't used those, only ever used Gtechniq C1, EXO, CSL so I can only comment on them.

Was seduced in to getting Diamond Bright done on a my new motor a few years back. Biggest load of s**t ever. Complete waste of money (and that was with 50% off)

Also worth noting..... the Diamond Bright guarantee is only valid if you only use diamond bright products and their prices are steep considering there are many more superior products out there for cheaper/not much more.

As others have said, bring your car to a proper detailer. Best bang for buck and they are properly trained unlike the guy at your dealership who washes your car with a brush and throws the Diamond Bright on.

    I wouldnt bother.
I know diamond brite is well slated on here among other forums, but to be fair it is not absolutely useless. The useless bit is how it is applied by the dealer

Slapped on by the untrained monkeys.

    Also
Do not thing Gtechniq is the only other option,
There are a few fanboys on here that are obsessed with it, You can get the likes of Carpro CQUK ( among others ) which is user friendly and as you could do this yourself it is a very cost effective alternative.

    I did mention CQUK

No fanboism either, I'm just speaking from my experience.
