A gate blew into my wing mirror yesterday , no major damage was done but my window on the same side isn't working right since. I'm just wondering if they are connected.... It's a vw caddy van. Thanks

They probably operate from the same wiring in the door but I can't see how hitting the mirror will affect the window's operation.
What is wrong with window exactly?
Was everything fine up until the gate?

Yeah was perfect until the gate incident !! The window stops halfway up and have to let go of the button for a second and then start it again and it goes up... Seems very slow now too...

Try to clean the rubber guides inside with a silicone spray, this will also lube them. Wipe off excess.
Try resetting window - push window button down, and when widow is fully down keep holding button down for 5 seconds. Then push button to get window up, and hold for another 5 seconds.

The rail the window runs in is probably bent from the impact, the mirror could have pushed the rail a small bit and thats all it takes to stop a window running freely.
