Any way to get grant AFTER boiler upgrade?

We got a new boiler and new heating control a few months ago and didn't realise you had to apply for a grant before getting work done. We were stuck without heating and had to do it quick

The seai people tell me I missed out on €700!

Does anyone know if there's any way around this? Seems so unfair.

    Thanks

No you didn't, you are installing the bolier this week (get it?).

Was your contractor registered with SEAI?

Don't they ask for a receipt though which would be dated

Throw the person who installed it a few bob and they’ll write you another

I can't even imagine they'd charge unless you're miles out of their way.

I'd near bet he's not SEAI registered though or else he would have suggested applying for the grant at the time.

I thought he was but now I need to check! Thanks
