I lost my credit card and I am getting a replacement sent out to me. I have a balance still showing on my credit card when I log into my 365online. I think I understood from a call with the call centre that I am able to transfer money from my current account to the credit card account through online banking.

    Please confirm?

(I was calling up for another matter so wasn't thinking to confirm that issue.)
I know I can call up and pay it off using another card, but more convenient to use the online banking.

    Hi samhail,

    Thanks for your post here.

Yes you can make a payment to your Credit Card on 365 Online by adding it as a Bill Payee. To do this, please go to Money Transfer then select Add a Payee and choose Bill payee. You will need to enter your BOI Credit Card 16 digit number in the reference field.

Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

    Thanks,
    Sarah

Hi Sarah - Sorry, I'm confused. Why would I add it again if I already have it added?

Can you also confirm that I can transfer to the credit card if it's been cancelled, your response looks like a standard one to add a credit card onto your account.

    Hi samhail,

Sorry I didn't know you had already added it as a Bill payee. Having your Credit Card added to view the balance online would be different to having it added as a bill payee.

Yes you can still make a payment to it online when your card has been lost, it will still reach your Credit Card account. Then when you receive your new replacement card, we would recommend adding it again as Bill payee with the new 16 digit card number to ensure the payment reaches the account. I hope this helps and please let us know if we can help with any other query.

    Thanks,
    Sarah
