In the summer months it is very busy with customers dining inside and outside.
At this time of year is is reasonably busy inside, food is fair.

You’d get a seat though at 2 or 3 in the afternoon? Surprised at the amount of pubs now that nearly require a booking for a Sunday!

Have been before for lunch where most of the tables are reserved. I would ring ahead if it's a biggish group.

didn't even know you could reserve a table.

It gets pretty busy on the weekend - food is good as pub grub goes, chicken wings are excellent and they do a decent burger. Good kids menu too and they'll do small versions of some of the main dishes if the kids want something that isn't sausage & chips etc.
