SEAT Leon engine management light on

I drive a 2013 1.6L Leon and on the way into work this morning was over taking a guy on a moped. Just after I felt the car lose power and a flashing coil came up on the dash. It was pretty obvious the turbo had gone. I continued driving into work and when I got in I turned the car off and back on a few seconds later. Lo and behold the light was gone and there were no issues with it.

The car had be running about 10 minutes before I overtook the moped, and I wasn't driving it hard at the time. From looking around online it seems it could be an EGR sensor causing the issue. I only have the car two months and it's still under warranty from a SEAT main dealer. Only issue is I'm living in Dublin and they're over in Galway - any advice? I'm assuming this kind of thing would be covered under warranty and not reasonable wear and tear?

I bought the car with 59k km on the clock and I've done over 4k km since I got it. Just want to have all my ducks in a row as I don't want to be fobbed off - I want to be able to sort it over the phone and drive the car down and back, no messing around.

EDIT: the car is fine now, but it seems from reading online that it's the kind of issue that will more than likely rear its head again. As there's only 4 weeks left on the warranty I want to have the issue sorted ASAP.

Ring/Call into a some local SEAT dealer and explain what happened and that car is in warranty from X
Ask if they will scan it for error codes within warranty.

Im no expert but i'm pretty sure the moped had nothing to do with it :)

Where are you based, the car will need to be scanned to see what fault codes are showing.

Ah I know that :) It was more to say I wasn't rallying it from cold straight outta the gate :D

I'm based in Celbridge so I'll call some of the local dealers during the week and see where I get to.

The warranty is usually valid with any Seat dealer not just the one who supplied it. Ring and double verify it first but generally this is the case.

It could literally have been one of a hundred different things, the only way to know is to get it booked in.
