Hey everyone 😊 Just a quick question want to know what other people think, have a daughter in school that has never mist behaved and always loves going I'm very lucky well she was trying to read her Irish out loud in class when she got stuck on the next word the teacher started the sentence again so she repeated it again and the teacher grabbed her hand and slammed it down on the book thinking she had lost where she was as I said she has always been great in school and never had a bad report off of any of her teachers she now is afraid to go to school over the teacher grabbing her she would not be used to this at all just wondering how other parents would feel if it was your child

Mod Note :There seems to be a trend of new posters joining this board with 1st posts that, at the very least, give one side of a story or at worst seem to want to stir anti-teacher feeling.I'm leaving this open for now.

What age is your child? When you say the teacher "grabbed her hand and slapped it down on the table" is it possible the teacher took your child's hand and showed her where to put it in the text book? If - and I do mean if, your child does not want to go to school over this alleged incident, have you asked the teacher what happened? Are you allowing your child to miss school in the meantime?

You have one side of a story OP maybe find out the other side via the teacher as any replies on this can only be guesswork as we and you do not have all the facts.
