    Hi Guys

We've had our 20 month old male cat Twinkie on Royal Canin SC27 Veterinary food for the last 6 months or so since he developed extreme allergic reactions to basically all supermarket foods, cows milk, supermarket cat milk, etc. We're getting it on zooplus which is cheaper than what we paid at the vets but we'd like to find an alternative on zooplus (live in rural area - so no decent pet shops anywhere near me). Has anyone tried Sanabelle food? I had my eye on this http://www.zooplus.ie/shop/cats/dry_cat_food/sanabelle/sanabelle_adult/183566

    Thanks
    Jenn

Sorry OP but supermarket food is about as bad as it gets in terms of quality so not surprised they react to it (and 50% of cats are lactos intolerant and should never be given cow milk etc.); try instead a grain free kibble instead such as Taste of the Wild - Rocky Mountain Feline, Porta 21 Feline Finest Sensible - Grain Free, Purizon Adult Fish etc. instead. As always go for a smaller bag first to use for switching over during a week or more of the kibble. She could also be reacting to the chicken in which case a pure fish kibble such as the last one could work well (note the kibble you linked is called lamb but it's 20% chicken and 5% lamb).

Thanks for info - we don't give them cows milk but on occasion they have been known to steal the dregs out of a cereal bowl and he will react to it. Loads of brands to go on there :)
