A few questions about Flyefit Roaming Membership. I'm currently on a one-gym membership - How long does it typically take for this to activate on your account / swipe card?

It's charged on a pro-rata rate for the month you switch over. I assume that means the cost will fall somewhere between the one gym membership for a month and a roaming membership for a month.

Finally, typically how busy is the George's Street one at lunchtimes during the week? While I know it's not an ideal situation, I'm hoping I can squeeze in some gym work at lunch...Hoping that there's some availability for machines, benches, racks, etc.

    * Full Disclosure : I work in FLYEfit, albeit in the IT section and have never gone to the gym outside of my work duties. Just not my thing *

    1. If I've done my job right, it takes less tha two seconds to activate a swipe card on your account. That is, it's active before you move from the kiosk to the turnstile. If it's not active, there is a buzzer bell out there somewhere, clearly marked, and a member of staff will let you in subsequent to membership verification.

    2. Yes. So if you are on a one gym subs and add roaming exactly half way through the month, you will be charged €1.50 [as it's €3 to add roaming for the month] until your next billing cycle.

    3. GST would be quite busy at lunch but not as busy as 5pm through 7pm. If you are on roaming, and near the green Luas line, take a punt up to Portobello [can get freaky crowded the odd lunch time] or Ranelagh. Both are not as busy as GST around lunch time.
