Microhydro -> Minimum LPS and Head to power an average size Irish house

Does anyone have any data on what is the minimum LPS and Head needed to power an average size Irish home via hydro?

I do not have a river (!) but I am trying to figure out how feasible/worthwhile it is to harness bog run off water from a large mountain to source water for the purpose of powering a hydro kit to power the home via something like a http://www.powerspout.com/.

I have about 8 metres of head and enough room to store water during dry periods.  The water run off is very noticeable during rainy periods and I have a lot of catchment area to tap into.

It would be good to know of any small scale solutions out there that people think are (partially) worthwhile.

    Thanks
