Hi everyone I have a 2014 Peugeot partner 67 thousand miles on it ... I have had this problem and had to argue with dealer for a long time for him to get it looked at ..

First all the gears where sticky notchy then they got worse it's like there was a wall blocking from going into any gear.... then the clutch pedal would get soft then hard then back to soft when it got soft sometimes the gears would improve a little bit .. anyway he told me the mechanic said it was the linkage cables ... I have been told by other mechanics it's the clutch ... also another thing is when I take off from first gear the car judders vibrates was told it's the clutch is weak is this true has anyone any info on what it could be is the the dealers mechanic trying to pass it off as linkage or is it the clutch and he don't want to pay for it to be done any help much appreciated trying to figure out what it is while still have few weeks warranty and before I collect it tommrow or Friday

I do alot of hunting driving around gate to gate on roads you think that it has worn out something cause there's alot of stop and start driving and gear changing

A lad I car pool with has a 2l diesel car and he doesn't know how to drive it.
Constant low rpms ,lugging it every gear change.
The clutch ,flywheel and gearbox are bollixed purely from his driving style.
But he gets the cheap tax so its worth it.........

firstly change ur gearbox oil or top it up especially if your only doing short hops around the place
if that doesn't work bring it to a good mechanic and leave it with him for a few days

I changed the gearbox oil already didn't seem to make any difference.. the linkage has been mentioned to me by few people but linkage would go bad on a 2014 van that quick would it .. with 64 ish k miles on it ?
