Villa on Amalfi Coast

    Thinking of spending a week with extended family (Eight including two teenagers) at the end of June. We're looking at getting villa with a pool / large patio area for socialising etc. ideally not too far from a beach.
    Looking through airbnb and booking.com there doesn't seem to be much available at a reasonable cost (€2500- €3000 for a week would be ballpark).

    The brief is roughly:
    • Two families so ideally enough space to do our own thing if needed
    • Pool / Patio essential
    • Not too far from a town/village with a few bars/restaurants - ideally walking distance.
    • Not too far from a beach.
    • Striking distance for Pompeii and other tourist attractions - we'll probably rent a car.
    I've found a few nice places that meet most of the above but mostly they are miles away from anywhere or else asking silly money. So I'm wondering if anyone has experience of staying a little farther away up or down the coast and finding a bargain or hidden gem?
    This or any other advice appreciated.
