Hip plaster and the car seat

    Hi, can anyone recommend a car seat that will fit a baby in plaster for dicky hips. The current one my friend has is too narrow for him. He's just in a brace atm, the plaster is going on in a few weeks.

    'In car safety centre' in Belfast rent them out. If she calls or emails, they'll tell her which seat she needs and post it down to her. She doesn't need to spend loads buying new seats

    The britax two way elite works with and without a spica cast, can be got for around €170 and is up to 25kg rear facing. You can also rent the maxi cosi opal directly from maxi cosi, contact their uk office or Facebook page and they’ll help. There is limited opals so best to book in advance of surgery if possible.
