We moved into a new house, walls are like paper. when we are in bed upstairs we can hear our neighbours TV downstairs. i'ts not like she is blaring but in contrast she can obviously here ours aswell.

is there any suggestions? I was planning on moving the wardrobes over against the wall its coming from. would it make a difference?

Anything you can put between you and the noise will help.

    Is it rented or owned?
If you own it you could consider putting in some built in wardrobes which go the will width and height of the wall and place some sound proofing material behind them.

I was going to move the wardrobes over but the are too big by 2 inches.

It's owned, I'm sure the minimum requirements just got put up to save some money.
