I'm wondering what is the average waiting time to get a date for test once the test is booked? I booked on the 28th Dec to take my test in Limerick city. Anyone with experience of doing the test in the last 6 months?

Hey if you are in a hurry call them. They will have cancelations. You will have to take it at short notice though.

All in all just make sure you are keeping a close eye on any hazards out of your control and react to them. (Someone near the edge of the foot path etc). Be confident and dont hesitate. Dont be afraid to fail. Best of luck

I just got my date, for a month away. I just finished my ADT and applied last week, so great I was able to get in that soon. I imagine that they might have cancellations as people might be switching to Ennis or Newcastle West as they have higher pass rates?

I just got my date the last day, I'm booked for the 27th of February which makes it almost 8 weeks to the day waiting time in Limerick.

Hi, recieved my Learner permit this week and applied straight away, informed I must wait between 7 - 12 weeks for test in dungarvan. Oh and also re book and schedule the walk around test , not available when booking practical. Money just flying out. Best of luck on 27th.

Call them frequently for any cancellations. I did my driving test two weeks after having it booked.

Just frequently call them. Only gripe is that you have no control over time.
