Have started taking whey isolate again but for some reason Im continuously bloated so thinking of trying a vegetarian friendly BCAA or just Leucine supplement-which is best? I eat alot of dairy so reckoning the leucine on its own is ok? I did a check and am only getting 5.5 mg typically through diet alone so reckon I need some supplement on lifting days?

Afaik, it depends on your overall protein profile. Leucine is important for triggering protein synthesis but you need more than that for the actual protein synthesis. That may be a slightly garbled interpretation but I think it's in the ballpark.

But when i take any leucine, It's usually in conjunction with protein from food

Do you mean you take leucine as supplement or you get entirely from whole foods?
I'm considering taking half servings of whey protein with leucine or BCAA powder mixed in. Overall I'm getting 2g protein per kg a day but only 30% of that is from dairy so worked out today that I'm not getting enough leucine. Maybe I'll buy both supplements and take a few grams of leucine in morning and some BCAA later in day? Meant to taste horrendous but I'll force it down !!
